Campground Rules – Lillehammer Camping
Welcome to Lillehammer Camping! We want every guest to enjoy a safe and pleasant stay. Please read and follow our campground rules.
๐ Distance and Setup
The 3-meter rule applies to all units (caravans, motorhomes, and tents) for fire safety and due to our infrastructure.
Units and vehicles must be placed within marked areas. Do not expand onto adjacent pitches without reception approval.
๐ Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Be considerate with music, generators, and other noise.
๐งผ Cleanliness and Waste
Keep your pitch tidy and free of litter.
Waste must be sorted and placed in the designated stations on-site.
Charcoal and ash must be emptied only at assigned spots – never in nature or general waste.
Sort your waste as follows:
Glass and metal
Cardboard and paper
Norwegian deposit bottles and cans
Charcoal and disposable grills
Gas canisters
Everything else goes in general waste
Note: Only household waste is accepted. Larger items (e.g., packaging from furniture) must be delivered to an official recycling station.
๐ถ Pets
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times.
Walking dogs is allowed inside the campsite, but waste must be picked up immediately.
๐ Driving and Parking
Walking speed only throughout the campground.
Driving is not allowed between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, unless necessary.
Only park on your assigned pitch or designated area – never on roads, empty pitches, or common areas.
Gate closes at 11:00 PM.
If you need to leave between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, park outside.
In emergencies (e.g., medical), use a taxi or similar transport.
Emergency vehicles have access at all times.
๐ฅ Fires and Grilling
Open fires on the ground are prohibited.
Disposable grills must be placed on fire-safe surfaces.
Never leave grills unattended.
Always follow current fire safety regulations.
๐ Sanitary Facilities
Children under 12 must be accompanied in sanitary buildings.
Keep facilities clean and tidy.
Washing machines and dryers require tokens (sold at the reception).
๐ถ Technology and Electricity
Free Wi-Fi is available in most areas – check info screens or ask at reception.
Only approved CEE plugs and cables may be used for power.
Note: Charging electric cars using regular sockets is strictly forbidden and will result in a NOK 500 fine per incident.
๐ General
Permanent structures (fences, decks, awnings) are not allowed without permission.
Long-term stays must be arranged with reception.
Reception is available during opening hours. Self-check-in and info boards are available outside reception hours.
